Can we arrange for a nurse or companion to accompany you?
Yes Global HCF can. Many of our clients take their spouse or loved ones with them. This is especially true in cases where children are involved. Some of our clients have a health care giver accompany them or wish to have one accompany them. Just let us know your needs and we can arrange it.

Why are prices so inexpensive and your Senior Care services virtually free?
Many factors are involved with making our services inexpensive. First, is the fact that Global HCF has contracts or affiliations with the hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, real estate agencies, loan institutions and travel agencies around the globe. We can leverage our size and the number of customers to obtain better pricing. Furthermore, the costs of living, value of the dollar, cost of medical care, facility charges, type of procedures, government programs and your location all are in the equation in regards to costs. What you don’t see are the hidden savings in your time and money. We take care of all the issues for you. In many cases, this involves communication differences in time zones as much as 15 hours and different days. We remove this barrier, already have the contacts, know the procedures and requirements to get you accepted and admitted and have already established the cost up front.

Does Global Health Care Facilitators own the hospitals?
No. Global HCF‘s job is to locate hospitals or doctors who are willing to provide you the services you require. Many of them offer Global HCF a price break that you would not be able to obtain. These hospitals are already established with a world renowned reputation. We then connect you to them so you can make your informed decisions about your health care. If the doctor’s and facilities are acceptable to you – we take it from there!

Do any of the doctor’s work for Global Health Care Facilitators?
No. There are no medical doctors that work directly for Global HCF. We do not provide you advice on your medical treatment – only your doctor can do that. We do not interfere with you or “second guess” your doctor’s decisions and recommendations. We also do not recommend one doctor over another.

I’ve never traveled overseas and worry about traveling to a foreign country?
Fortunately, the majority of the world still treats foreigners and especially those seeking medical care with great respect and deference. Millions of people have successfully traveled for medical procedures. We do our best to ensure your safety. However, there are countries that it is advisable that you take caution traveling to for your own protection. Please contact the United States State Department, Department of Homeland Security or your responsible government agency for a list of countries with travel restrictions. None of our contracted hospitals are currently in countries that we feel put you at risk. Should that change we will advise you as soon as we know.

Will I need a passport or visa?
Yes. The Department of Homeland Security has mandated that all travel outside the United States requires a passport. People from other countries will require passports also. Some countries require various types of visas. We handle that for you.

Who makes the decisions about my medical procedures?
Clearly you do. We will put you in touch with doctors or hospitals that can perform the procedures you have requested. It is completely your responsibility to ensure that you are comfortable with your physician and the hospital. As we are not your medical doctor, we are not qualified nor are we able to comment on your health or the procedure.

Does Global HCF certify the doctors for me?
No. We get you into contact with doctors who have a history of providing these procedures. No company in our business, including Global HCF, should certify that a doctor is right for you. Only you can do that. Be wary of one that does.

We treat all your medical and personal information with respect. Privacy is something that every individual is concerned about. We must share your information (personal and medical) with the doctor or facility you have chosen. To do so, we must maintain a copy of your information. We do NOT sell or transfer your personal or medical information to third parties except where necessary for your health, payment, law or your consent. Can you work with my insurance company or company?
Yes, at your request we will contact them. Our success with them depends on many factors such as whether we have a contract with them, privacy issues, their policies, time, and costs.

What kinds of procedures are available?
Actually there are many procedures offered by our list of hospitals. These range from cosmetic applications (liposuction breast augmentation, hair replacement) to life saving heart and brain surgery, organ replacement, and various cancer treatments. Quality of life surgery is very active in areas such as hip and shoulder replacement, in vitro fertilization procedures and dental surgery. Is there financial help available?
Yes.Global HCF has partnered with several major lending institutes. We can assist you in finding lending institutions; provide you the required paperwork and information at your request. We can in many cases submit your paperwork for you. In some cases your insurance company will pay the costs if covered under your policy.
